I saw portions of the investigation on the sexual abuse committed against Sandro Muhlach, the son of former child superstar Nino Muhlach. I saw Nino Muhlach wiping his tears. Bilib ako sa kanya, he kept his calm during the hearing. To some parents, hindi nila mapipigilan ang sarili nila na makaharap ang mga taong lumapastangan sa anak nila. Baka hndi na makarating sa hearing yung dalawang yun at masakal na.
Aside from Sandro Muhlach who is also an actor, there are other allegations, mukhang meron pa ring ginahasa daw na mga 12 year olds and above. Merong dinadala daw sila sa Pansol, Laguna, nagre-rent ng kwarto at duon sila minomolestya. Nakakakulo ng dugo. Twelve year old? Baby pa yun. Walang kamuwang-muwang. Sexual predators must be locked up in jail forever. They are a menace to society. Kawawa ang mga bata. They will carry these emotional and psychological trauma for the rest of their lives.
I will not spend one minute of my time in the same room as sexual predators most especially pedophiles. They don’t deserve our time. I do not wish to breath the same air as sexual offenders most especially those victimizing children.
I couldn’t understand why the Senate spent their precious time and people’s money investigating “in aid of legislation”. What legislation do they need? The way the senators, led by Senate president pro tempore, Jinggoy Estrada, and Sen. Robin Padilla, were scolding and asking questions clearly showed that the committee chairpersons were totally convinced that the two suspected offenders were guilty. Bakit meron pang in aid of legislation? Kasuhan, ikulong, at parusahan na lang.
If found guilty, they should be confined in isolated spaces without interaction with other inmates. Baka duon naman maghasik ng lagim, sa halip na parusa eh matuwa pa sila at marami ang pwede nilang …… wantusawa.
