It’s December 8 and I feel blessed that I was able to visit the Our Lady of Atonement or better known as the Baguio Cathedral right on this day. The mass had just ended when I arrived, but for me, it didn’t matter. Mass or no mass, what’s important to me was I was there, thanking God and Mama Mary.
This Baguio landmark is on top of a hill right in the heart of the city. It is walking distance from Session Road, but you have to climb the steep stairs and thru the post office building.
It was constructed in phases and was finally consecrated in 1936. It became a refugee center during the Japanese bombing.
Holy Water Angels, at the church’s main entrance
Candles are P3 a piece. I lighted one. AS usual I prayed for our family’s safety and good health.
Hey man, what are you up to? Don’t jump.
Bahala ka, I will not bother to catch you.
Hi! I know this is kinda off topic nevertheless I’d figured I’d ask. Would you be interested in exchanging links or maybe guest authoring a blog post or vice-versa? My site discusses a lot of the same subjects as yours and I think we could greatly benefit from each other. If you’re interested feel free to shoot me an email. I look forward to hearing from you! Terrific blog by the way!
