2. I taught Nimfa how to extract the Pomegranate seeds. When I got home in the evening, they’re ready to eat. Sarappp.
3. I came home late again. I left the office at 8 or 8:30 and traffic along EDSA was still bad. It’s in the news that the government is allocating some 6 or 9 billion pesos to rehabilitate the stretch of EDSA. I am not at all excited about this and from my point of view who is a regular EDSA commuter, I find no value in spending billions that would not help me at all. MMDA said there would be elevated gardens. This would look pretty, but would this reduce my traveling time and wasted gas? MMDA said there would be smoother roads as they would cement or ewan the roads. This would create monstrous traffic and I would have to endure more hours of wasted time, gas, I will age inside the car so fast, while they are slowly doing this. After they are through, would this reduce my traveling time and would this create faster traffic? The government must publish their master plan. Yeah it may look nice afterwards but would the cosmetics far outweigh the abala and pasakit to us? What’s their plan and how would it benefit us? Would EDSA be safer and the traffic faster?

11. I asked my driver to buy an off-white envelope the one that’s more makinis than the ordinary brown envelopes. he came back with 20 pieces of the brown envelope. I asked him “bakit yan, di ba sinabi ko kanina hindi yan ang bibilhin mo? Sabi ko off-white at o kaya ibang kulay, wag lang yan?….
John….”mam, wala ho, yan lang ang meron”.
Me—— “imposible, marami dung ibang kulay.
John—-“Makapal na ho yung mga iba”.
Me——“Ang instruction ko sayo kulay , hindi kapal.
John—-“Meron ngang ibang kulay pero masyadong makapal”
John insisted on saying that walang off-white, ang meron lang makapal. See the logic? I am talking about COLOR, he is dwelling on THICKNESS.

Aside from getting envelopes, I also bought a new HP printer.
To tell you honestly, I get so inconvenienced by this brown paper thing. I like brown paper, but not when I am buying heavier stuff and not when I am still planning to walk around the mall, not when I buy food, etc. hugging a paper bag doesn’t make my life easier. Dagdag stress sa akin dahil my stuff always falls down, the brown paper tears easily. I understand the logic, but I disagree that everything must be in brown paper. Feeling ko we are going backwards.
We should reduce, recycle, and be more responsible in throwing our garbage. But to impose total ban on plastics, medyo nahihirapan ako. I bought a half-gallon of ice cream and 4 cans of pint ice cream and they were placed in a brown paper. Tapos tatlong doble din ang ginawa. Nabutas rin dahil nabasa. Nung bumalik ako to return the ice cream cans, they were forced to place them in a plastic shopping bag, that was easier to carry. I felt so relieved.
12. Tuna sandwich was my lunch from Sexy Chef. After I almost finished the sandwich, I noticed that the tissue paper was almost gone too, Nakain ko rin pala. I was in deep thought while I was eating.
