I deposited P980 to the bank last monday. Those were the P10, P5, P1 and 25 centavo coins from my alkansya.
Do you know that Robinsons Department Store would pay P110 for every P100 worth of 10 & 5 centavo coins you exchange to them? And P105 for every P100 worth of 25 centavo coins?
That gives a 5% and 10% return. Not bad.
I have started saving the tiny ten centavo and five centavo copper coins. But they come so rare, it could take years to fill-up my tin can.
