The Ikea store is the one in Emeryville. It’s about 30 minutes freeway drive at 65 miles per hour.
We started-out eating first at their cafeteria. Their menu hasn’t changed for the past two years or so.
Apple pie, Swedish meatballs with mashed potato (I ordered th kid’s menu $2.49), pumpkin soup (delicious too). They also have baby back ribs (portion is for babies) with french fries (better than Mcdo), steamed salmon.
If you like simple and clean lines, Ikea has it all under one roof from bedrooms, kitchens, bath, living, den and dining rooms.
Tired and sleepy Edmund couldn’t resist the mattress.
Started tour with eating first, ended tour with eating again. Ikea has a food stall right after the check-out counters, just before you leave. Food is cheap. I heard two white ladies, asking “Is their food from Sweden?”
