Yesterday morning, on my way to the garage, I told our chef de la kusina (dlk) not to cook too much meat. I told her to reduce the number of times she serves us meat, and if ever, to limit to boiling or grilling instead of frying. And always cook fish.
Our breakfast kasi a few mornings ago was all meat:
Nilagang baka with pechay Tagalog
Adobong Baboy (Pork adobo)
Beef and Pork Sausage
Tonight, our dinner was a triplet of fish:
Steamed tilapsie
Nilagang bangus with malunggay
Inihaw na bangus na may kamatis at sibuyas
A———— “Niluto mo yung striploin?
Chef dlk—– “Hindi, sabi mo wag magluto ng karne?”
A———— “Bakit ang dami namang isda?”
Chef dlk—- “Sabi mo puro isda ang lutuin”.
A———– “Sabi ko magluto ka ng isda pero hindi ko sinabi na lahat ay isda, parang festival ng isda”.
E———– Ha ha ha, yan din ang si-nerve nya sa akin, buti nga diet. ha ha ha”.
