Goodbye Ipin - Oh My Buhay

Last Tuesday was a busy day for me and my family. I was supposed to host a dinner for the US Consul and his Filipina wife but I hesitantly cancelled it because there’s just too many family activities on this day. Sobra akong mai-stress. I’ll re-schedule in July.

Edmund had tooth extraction at 10 am. Although my husband is like Superman who doesn’t cry during dental visits, I still went to Dr. Elizabeth Carasco’s clinic to check on him. It was an easy bunot. In a blink tanggal na agad ipin nya. Goodbye ipin. I didn’t hear him shout. Matapang talaga.
Edmund's tooth extraction

He felt immediate relief. Araw -araw kasi he was complaining about some discomfort in his gums. Ang problema, he’s not sure if he pointed at the right tooth. Nakaw. Baka yung kalapit? Ipabunot mo na rin pag biglang sumakit.

Dentist Beth told us she reads Ohmybuhay everyday and every night. Eto daw pampatulog nya. She said every night, her daughter would just get her Ipad from her embrace after she has fallen asleep. She said she reads ohmybuhay because it’s about life, and she is able to relate to it. Thank you Beth.
Kala ko nakakatulog sya kasi boring.
Avid Ohmybuhay reader, Beth

The dentist told Edmund to have bed rest and no physical activity muna in 3 days.
Naku, the next day eh he was at the driving range na. Balewala yung bunot. He didn’t feel any pain. Hayun magaling na.
