King Louis XIV commissioned Andre le Notre to design the vast gardens of the chateau. It took 40 years to finish. Work continues to this day to restore certain portions of the 800 hectares park and gardens known in French as Jardins du Chateau de Versailles.
My son didn’t want to pose at first. I told him it’s a very good spot, kunwari he’s the prince who owns the palace behind him.
King Louis XIV bought all the lands around the original 20 room hunting lodge of his father. He extended the chateau to 2,000 rooms. All of a sudden I found my house too small. My daughter said our house could fit in one of the chateau’s living rooms.

It would be cool to drive around the parks and gardens in a golf cart. Sayang, we didn’t have time, we only had half hour more. I would like to do that next time.
It was drizzling intermittently.
There were thousands of people inside the chateau and mostly Asians. Our tour guide told us to avoid the ___ people because they are very pushy. I suppose she said that based on her previous experiences.
Some of them were also taking pictures of the gardens, pinaalis anak ko. Sinutsutan pa. Kulang talaga sila sa modo. Kilala nyo kung sino ang tinutukoy ko, yung mahilig mangsakop ng ating mga isla at karagatan.
Hahaha. Same experience with them when I visited Niagara. My aunt almost got in a fight kasi they pushed us so they could get our spot. They won’t even look you in the eye so you could at least give them a deadly glare
