Edmund and I attended the wedding of family friend Sarah and her doctor boyfriend, Trapper Yuvienco at the Fernbrooks Gardens in Cavite, near Alabang.
The proud parents of Sarah, General Rolly Anonuevo and Atty. Marievic Anonuevo.
This two are prime example of a happy couple staying together because they are still in-love with each other. Parehong napaka-bait.
The lola of the bride, Donya Aning Ramos. My children fondly call her lola also. She’s very kind and warm to my kids, parang apo rin nya. Every time she sees us, she giggles and kisses us, such a nice and sincere person. Mana sa kanya si Marievic, masayahin din.
At the chapel, Edmund saw Oscar Yuvienco, the first husband of Rae Hughes, an OMB reader and a close friend of our family (Tan). I was the candle sponsor at their wedding at the Malate Church. Magboyfriend pa lang kami ni Edmund nuon.
Edmund with Councilor and Mrs. Banal, Mrs & Mrs. Cora Imperio and son.
The reception was held inside a huge hall with two sections, each has a towering draped ceiling.
The tables were decorated with beautiful and expensive varieties of flowers.
You could tell how expensive the wedding is by the kind and quantity of flowers used. Flowers cost so dear. When you see Malaysian mums, alam mo ng medyo budgeted kasi eto libre lang from the caterer. But when you see Equadorian roses, milflores, cabbage looking flowers, carnations etc., naku those are expensive.
There’s no elevated presidential table. This one’s occupied by the couple’s friends / wedding entourage. Very nice flowers.
I am so in love with this photo. Syempre I was the one who took it.
While we were seated waiting for the program to start, Edmund and I were talking about wedding arrangements, yung mga kaugalian, at paano ang sharing of expenses. I told him if my son’s getting married, I will spend di ba ganun dahil akin ang lalaki. He told me to start saving for my son’s wedding. I should start dropping coins in a drum. Eh wala pa naman syang girlfriend kaya that gives me a lot of time.
We waited for at least an hour before the program started kaya Edmund and I had a lot of time observing the surroundings. Ilang yarda kaya ang nakain nitong kisame. Kailan kaya ito huling nilabhan?
This is a big wedding with about 500 guests. Malaking angkan daw from both sides.
We’re from the bride’s side.

Eating time, it’s supposed to be buffet, but the waiter brought food to our table instead, kasi napunta kami sa VIP table. We were with a congressman and a Sandiganbayan judge.
Omb——- “waiter bakit parehong noodles ito?”
Ang init talaga. I envied Edmund when he took off his suit. I wanted to tear off the 3 linings of my gown.
The roasted calf station was the busiest.
Here comes another dead calf. Kawawa.
I was so pawis na.
The newly weds Sarah and Trapper
Edmund and I ate everything the waiter brought, including all the desserts.
Mango crepe
Chay, the wife of Congressman Sammy Pagdilao, didn’t touch the main course.
I saw her eating only the dessert.
I noticed the dessert never stopped coming, there was so much variety.
Fruits in ice cream was the last that Edmund and I ate kasi we were super busog na.
Sarah wore a beautiful white gown made by VELUZ Puno-Reyes
Veluz is a graduate of Clothing Technology in UP Diliman. She started making bridal gowns at a young age of 26. She’s now one of the most sought-after bridal gown designers and her gowns are always on the cover of wedding magazines.
Sarah’s lithe frame and tiny waistline were perfect for the fluffy skirt.
We left at 9 pm but the program wasn’t finished yet. We should have stayed until the end of the program, nakakahiya kila Rolly and Marievic. When were already outside, I told Edmund tila maaga pa at nakakahiya nga. It would be awkward naman if we would go back.
Hi, Tita Annie! I just saw this today! Thank you for featuring our wedding! So nice to see our wedding from a third-person POV! I don’t even remember what the flowers and table arrangements looked like! I hope you are doing well! -Sarah
Hi Sarah, How are you?
The floral arrangements at your wedding were great. And I must say that you looked soooo pretty.
Ang liit ng bewang mo.
Warmest regards.
