Last Saturday, one of our drivers requested if he could leave at 5 pm because he’s going to the wake of his niece. Last day daw kasi ililibing the next day.
This morning, I made kumusta if he was able to go to the wake. Since this particular driver is only in his 30s, so I figured his niece must be younger. Twelve years old lang daw?
I asked what happened. This girl pala was the high school student that fell off the concrete stairs while taking selfie photos with her classmate.
Her aunt, who lives here in Manila, took the girl under her care to help her family. They’re actually from Batangas. The aunt was the one sending her to school kaya the aunt is more traumatized daw together with the other girl who was also taking selfie photos. Buti na lang daw hindi sya hinawakan, hindi sya naka sama sa paghulog. Very sad.
They are thinking of suing the school but I told him it’s not the school’s fault.
