LUNG HIN @ Marco Polo

While Edmund was away for the weekend, my children brought me to Lung Hin for dimsum at the Marco Polo Hotel in Ortigas Avenue, Pasig.

E, O, and Nyke had all been there, except me.

Nyke drove. Marco Polo’s driveway is so narrow. Pilit na pilit yung inner-bay.

No matter how fond you are with dogs, it’s not very smart to cuddle other people’s dogs, including guard dogs, sniff dogs, etc. You run the risk of being scratched or bitten. EVEN IF that dog is trained, tame, lethargic, DON’T touch other people’s dogs, especially BIG dogs. Contain yourself. Cuddle your children or spouse instead. Exceptions to this is if you are Cesar Milan or a vet at the Bondi Vet in Australia.

Oyen reserved a table for 3 a few days in advance.

Our table was beside the window.

I got entertained enjoying the view. I imagined that our house must be somewhere out there.

This panfried onion cake  was sour and smelly. We returned it after eating a slice each. This almost destroyed our meal. They served us another one which tasted okay.

We have a discount card for 30% discount.
We thought they would strike out the charge for the onion pancake. Eh kaso we ate the replacement daw.

We explored the rest of the hotel after our lunch.

One of the reasons why some people live in condos is to have a sweeping view of the surroundings.

The check in counter and a bigger guests lounge are on the 24th floor

There’s a buffet restaurant on the 24th floor.

There’s a wedding pala kaya I’ve seen many women in long gown. While the tall and slim bride continued posing, the bridal car was outside at the hotel entrance causing more traffic. Neneng, traffic na sa labas, go out na.
