Her Long Champ was slashed - Oh My Buhay

Her Long Champ was slashed

I had a quick dinner with my relatives Olive and Kimmy. I wasn’t able to finish my salad because we’re in a hurry.
salad, dinner with Kimmy and Olive

Olive’s surname is Celestra and tubong Pila-pila where my mother was born and raised.

She’s very dedicated to the Aralar family. She was the one who took care of both Atty. and Mrs. Rey Aralar including their children. Last month, when she went to visit the bed-ridden Willy, the younger brother of Atty. Rey, at their ancestral home in Pila-pila, she found him dead already.

Olive and Kimmy

Kimmy’s great grandfather was my mom’s nephew. Her grandfather was my nephew. Her mom is technically my apo.

Kimmy’s a registered nurse and had worked abroad for two years. She came back for a much better offer from an American health insurance firm.

She takes the MRT everyday and is picked up at the MRT station by their company’s shuttle. Just recently, her Long Champ shoulder bag was slashed while she was riding the MRT. She lost her wallet, all her cash, credit cards and ATM. Including her I/phone 5. The MRT security guard gave her some money so she could get a ride home.

  1. I believe she rides in the ladies section of the MRT. Even so, do not trust the ladies beside you especially in the public place. Eto na, when I’m paying for my 1 kilo tilapia at 1 kilo bangus wala na yung coin purse ko sa bulsa. I don’t usually bring wallet kasi it’s big so i always bring coin purse para easy access at di mabigat.

    Have a good day!

  2. Thank you Nanette for sharing us your own experience when you lost your wallet in the market. I also do not bring a wallet when I go to the palengke. I also scatter my money and put P100 in my pocket for emergency.

    1. Naku Ma’am Annie, don’t leave your bag inside the car kasi ang magnanakaw ngayon pag nakita nila na bumaba kayo sa kotse na wallet lang ang dala alam nila na yun bag nasa kotse… ang gagawin po nila babasagin yun salamin ng auto then kukunin po bag nyo… so be careful po…. we have lots of client at Ford who experience that… God bless po..
