My White Kariton

I painted my vintage kariton white.  I used a semi-gloss white enamel.

Giving it some splashes of color would make it pop and happy-looking. Ngayon kasi it looked so gloomy and mukhang anay.

I will sand it and apply a top coat.    I want a certain shade of teal but there’s no available exact color so I had it mixed but it was also according to the available swatch.

After applying a top coat, I would sand it again especially the edges to give it aged patina look.

Nippon Paint

Although the yakal wood’s natural brown color is more organic-looking, the paint would help preserve the wood especially that it’s under extreme elements, init, ulan, bagyo. The top coat of paints hopefully would extend its life for another 100 years.
