Oyen tried to book for two adjacent rooms with a connecting door but she couldn’t get a booking. We were given rooms 3417 facing Metrowalk and 3411 facing Meralco.
Room 3411 for the grown-up kids. The sound of motor vehicles from Ortigas Avenue could be heard.
The toilet could be seen from the bedroom. The tub and shower were right beside the bed.
A——–“Tart, walang privacy”.
E——–“Ganyan na ang uso ngayon, sa mga hotel, kahit sa Thailand”.
A——–“Naku, pagka pag-interesan mo ako”.
Edmund and I couldn’t sleep until 3 am because the noise coming from Metrowalk could be heard from our room. The band’s sound of bass and treble were pounding on my chest. Siguro there were many hotel guests complaining of this noise.
11 pm—– A—–“Tart, ang ingay pala dito”.
E——— “Hanggang alas dose lang yan”.
Not true, by 2 am they were still hitting the drums.
I hope you don’t go to that hotel again – with the bad checkin service and noise. What’s the point if you can’t get a peaceful night’s sleep? I’m a light sleeper so it’d be hard for me to enjoy a space over the noise.
