My husband lectured me this morning on how to handle stress.
E——–“Tart, what’s wrong? Tingnan mo namamayat ka. Hindi ka natutulog”.
My tears started to fall.

Last night at 12:40 am he opened his eyes and saw me sitting on the bed playing scrabble. “Tart, matulog ka na”.
I was waiting for my son, nag-basketball kasi. MInsan after the game they would eat merienda, syempre nagku-kwentuhan pa, medyo natatagalan.

He said I should know how to detach myself from situations especially those that I have nothing to do with. I have to accept that there are things not within my control”.

E———“Tart, wag ganyan, umaga pa lang mukhang aburido ka na”.

After next week, magbakasyon daw ako to de-stress, isama ko daw mga anak ko. Hindi pwede kasi Oyen is traveling this week to Thailand for the new Ford Everest ride and drive, then to Iceland in September. Siguro October makapunta sa Palawan o sa Vigan o sa Bohol, o sa Bacolod, kahit saan.

He was recently in Boracay for 3 days with 40 golfers. Sa Boracay kaya?

Yesterday I ate five times to have more energy and fats (!). I had rice and fish in the morning, chicken plato wrap and buko juice for lunch, 1/2 bread with sorbetes sandwich for snacks, rice with nilagang baka and tempura shrimps for dinner, and three pieces of loaf with coco jam for midnight snacks, one piece Belgian chocolate coin. Pagka naman hindi pa ako naging Dabiana sa dami nyan.

  2. Stress eating, Miss Annie. I have noticed this to myself, when I am stressed, I’m hungry also. Madaling maka-drain ang stress kaya laging gutom 🙁

  4. I can empathize with u, Ms Annie.. Whenever my kids are still out late at nite, even at their age, i still can’t sleep unless i know that they’re home safe and sound.. 🙁

    I guess that’s one of the pains of being a MOM.. 😀 talagang hindi ka makakatulog hanggang hindi sila nakakauwi, kahit pa nagbasketball lang or nanood ng movie or nagdinner lang with friends… 🙂

    Your kids are LUCKY to have YOU for their MOM.. and ur also lucky to have a very loving and caring hubby.. 😉

    Take care and try to get some rest, kahit dka pa matutulog.. Iba din kc pag nakakapahinga ang mind and body mo.. Kc pag tense ang body mo, ur mind won’t be able to relax din kc nga, ur mind is on overdrive and lalo ka lang nai-stress… Kaya lalo ka hindi makatulog.. 🙁

    Relax more often, Ms Annie.. Even sir Edmund noticed that u are losing weight coz of overthinking.. 😉
