My brother in law, Reynaldo “Bong” Aralar, is all for Rodrigo Duterte for president. He’s been busy working with his fraternity brothers in convincing him to join in the fray. President Duterte? Why not?
My drivers are for Duterte for whatever position he chooses. Many would switch from Poe to Duterte in case he runs for president.
Vice President or president, mukhang meron ding laban. The next presidential election is going to be very exciting. So far there’s no run away contender yet.
Filipinos are tired of traditional politicians that’s why many are choosing Grace Poe because they perceive her as a breath of fresh air in our corrupt-ridden government. But there are also questions on her ability to lead this country. Being the president of a chaotic country takes more than being righteous. She has to be competent, intelligent, decisive, strong enough to lead a hundred million people who do not know how to follow lines and rules.
This is also the reason why many are clamoring for Duterte to run. They want peace and order, system, DISCIPLINE. Someone said Duterte is worried that if he runs, business people who would donate money for his campaign would want something in return. I am sure. Of course. Dapat merong kapalit. They would demand his extreme competence in the performance of his duties as president of this republic that is hungry for change, big positive change. They would demand that his team install peace and order in the country so that citizens are able to live a peaceful life. Businesses are allowed to go about their daily activities without fear for their safety and / or oppression from government and criminals. When there’s peace, there’s progress.
I’ll definitely vote Duterte if he runs for presidency. He always say that he dont have money para kumandidato. Sana he wont mind the expenses as there are people who are willing to fund him. And besides, madami pong tao ang may gusto talaga sa kanya na maging presidente 🙂
