Drive More Refuel Less

I will never forget what my father told me almost 3 decades ago, to never let my gasolina go below less than half a tank. Kasi daw para kung maligaw ako, I would never run out of gas. Para hindi tumirik yung kotse, delikado nga naman lalo na kung gabi na. And If I am going outside of the city or a little farther away, or maraming lakad on that day, dapat daw full tank lagi.

One afternoon I was driving home from work when I noticed my car’s fuel gauge was already below the empty line. Oops, super empty na pala, I drove to the nearest gas station and put P20 worth of gas. That was 28 years ago.
