Broken cups and saucers

I didn’t pack well the cups and saucers I brought home from Scotland.
Half were broken into pieces.

150+ year old cup made during the Victorian era (1837-1901)

I bought 4 sets, 3 were broken.

Instead of throwing the pieces away, I placed them in a shoe box for future mosaic project.

To avoid the maids accidentally breaking the remaining pieces of table ware, I placed a big sign not to touch them.

I bought this set in Oct 2013 in England. I went back to the same store where I found this and it was no longer there. The neighboring store told me that the owner closed the store a year ago and then she vanished. No one knew where she went or moved. She just disappeared.
