Driver’s style of driving was pasubsob-subsob. Nahihilo ako. It was his first time to drive a big van.
I am very bad at packing. Months before I already knew that we would be flying back to Iloilo but I only got ready the day before. Not even, only an hour before we left the house.
We’re staying for several days so we brought a bigger luggage. It was very heavy and full. I brought my white carry on and guess what’s inside. A small chili colored bag na hindi pwedeng mapisa so it’s there inside my white luggage all by itself. Sobrang reyna.
My husband was the one who booked our tickets and the dates. Two weeks ago, he changed his mind about the dates and as a result he paid extra fees just to change the bookings. I think 5,000 pesos for rebooking.
We had full breakfast at home and yet we ate again at the PAL domestic lounge.
We were the last to board. Kain kami ng kain we didn’t know it was final boarding already.
There was only one choice, the tuna balls, because they ran out of the chicken koftas and turmeric rice.
Chocolate pili dessert. I didn’t see the pili nuts.
After five more minutes we landed smoothly at the Iloilo Airport. Please never change its name. Baka pakialaman ng mga politico. Sing mga Ilonggo hindi tugutan i islan.
We took off at 1:05 pm and landed at almost 2 pm.
Waiting for the SUV Edmund rented for the duration of our stay here.
Although this is not a Ford, at least it’s better than the small sedan we had here in July. The minute I got on this vehicle, I hit my head on the ceiling.
I’ve just been here two and a half months ago and yet I have no recollection of the surroundings.
Haha you’re starting to speak Ilonggo..I do at home..even if my kids speak a little..
I wish …
