Thistle Trafalgar Hotel - Oh My Buhay

Thistle Trafalgar Hotel

This is my husband’s favorite hotel in London.  He said, from now on,  we will not waste any more effort to look for other hotels to stay when visiting this city.  Basta daw,  every time we’re here,  we’ll stay at this hotel.  Good location, very near Chinatown.   Naku paano yan? Oyen booked us in another hotel for our return to London and it’s not refundable.  We can’t cancel it anymore.  Oyen said we should discover other hotels and familiarize ourselves with other areas in the city.  Kasi nga naman for 25 years puro Covent Garden lang and Chinatown ang alam namin.

We stayed at this hotel in March of last year in this exact room, #602.  The room is spacious and the sofa converts into a double bed.

The king bed is very comfortable.

A big hotel is being built right beside Thistle. Last year I enjoyed watching the construction workers go about their work. Ngayon, ang taas na ng building. In two years this would be finished.

I noticed rwo big stains on the duvet cover around 11 pm on the night we arrived. It looked like the sheet hasn’t ben changed. I called the front desk. In a few minutes an old guy knocked on the door and inspected the duvet. He came back after 5 minutes and replaced the sheet.
A—-“Mukhang nahihirapan sya, Tart tulungan mo..”
E—-“Hirap na hirap… mukhang hindi nya trabaho ito..”

The following morning, the customer service manager named Sophia called and apologized. She said they didn’t know how it happened and were investigating. She offered us a free breakfast. I didn’t expect that kind gesture. Thanks Sophia.
