Dogs for Sale

Our puppies are growing fast and they are super likot na and kulit.  They could climb out of their pen  and  crawl their way out of our gates.

We went to Tiendesitas to buy a bigger pen.  Edmund canvassed from different stores kasi iba-iba ang presyo.  Meron P2,500,  P2,000, P1,500.

There are  a lot  of stores selling pet equipments and supplies such as  clothes, toys, beds, toothpaste, shampoo, medicines and thousands of  accessories from hair clips to sandals and shoes.  For pets ha,  baka pumunta ka para sa’yo.

The place is a Mecca for dog lovers.  It’s not a place for people who do not support cruelty to animals.

Hundreds of puppies are kept in cages while waiting for buyers with the right amount of cash.  Many of the puppies look weak and sick.  And you could tell they are disoriented and craving for attention,  or begging for compassion.

For people like us who treat their dogs like family,  it breaks our heart to see these puppies in that condition and looking so helpless.  My daughter said if she had the money she would buy all those dogs.  It would not stop the vendors.  It would encourage them to sell again.  Save the dogs today,  tomorrow there would be more in their display.

I stood beside a cage with yorkies.  They looked exactly like Twinkle’s pups.

The tindero took one and moved it closer to my face.

“Mam,  oh,  kinakahulan kayo,  iuwi nyo na daw sya”.

Me—    Labing isa na ang aso namin.

“Mam– gawin nyong labing dalawa”

P400  shampoo, trim, mani-pedi, tooth brush.

Ginawang Lion King.

Napaka behave nitong shitzu.

Nagkakagulo sa fish ball.  This vendor is making a killing.   I think there’s only one operator or concessionaire of the sorbetes, kinabog/binatog, fish ball, samalamig, etc

This is Twinkie (temporary name).  I brought him with me to the office this morning.  Ang bait nya.  We hate to see her go but we are looking for new parents for her who would adore and spoil her.   Bodgie,  one of our clients initially wanted her but she works for the United  Nations and would be in Afghanistan for a while.  Her sister doesn’t want to take care of Twinkie while Bodgie is away.

Ohh,  you are so adorable.

Twinkie got so nervous and scared when the employees surrounded him. He was shaking vigorously.
