I get a high when shopping for antiques than shopping for clothes and bags. I consider this my simple joy.
I used to buy a variety of items but lately, I just focus my attention on plates, teacups, and saucers. They are easier to carry and bring home. And they are just so lovely.
My children will have an awesome day dividing between them which plate to keep and which to give away or to sell on eBay or Craiglist or on Facebook, when I am gone. I have no problem with my daughter. She would most likely keep my plates. But my son? Her wife (to be) might throw my plates away. Hahaha. I could almost imagine their faces, “oh mom!”
