We drove to Las Vegas on May 30. I actually don’t mind the long drive and I don’t feel inip or bored nor tired. Yes, I do need to stretch my legs, arms and back after several hours but I actually enjoy the long drive.

Vegas appeals to my husband because of the dozens of golf courses around and they are within short driving distances. He feels relax here even if we’re only staying for a little over a week. The prospect that he would be able to play golf in a new course each time is enough to excite him.

We’ve been running for two hours before I realized that I have left my iPad pro behind. My husband started lecturing me again for being unorganized.

We always stop in Bakersfield to gas and freshen-up. We are always in the company of our tourist neighbors. Actually I should stop calling them country neighbors. They are everywhere in our country and it looks like they are soon becoming our kababayans.

Lunch at Popeye’s.

There is no lotto in Las Vegas which is ironic. Last chance to buy tickets here in Bakersfield. $444,000,000 my God. Pesos 23,088,000,000 nay sobrang dami.

Sunmflower seeds keep my husband awake while driving. Eating keeps me awake.

This young guy asked for a dollar. I asked why he was asking for money. I forgot what his answer was but I gave him anyway. I told him to be a good person.

The freeway is wide open and the roads are wider than the airport runways. I am one person who enjoys the scenery, whether a wide open field, barren land, mountain, or the canyons, I admire nature. My only concern is that my husband feels sleepy all the time and his back hurts. And of course, road safety. No matter how careful we are, some drivers could be reckless.

We don’t drive too fast. We are always within the limits.

We left Northern California at 8:00 am and reached Las Vegas around that time also.
