Vacation is finished, we shall return. Bangkok has surprisingly taken a spot on my list of short vacation places.
I love their street food and I need not wear shoes, I go around wearing tsinelas. I enjoy having nightly foot massages. What else is there that I like? I like Chinatown and lanzones. Oh yes, the sticky rice too.
One thing that I don’t like is the communication challenge. It’s hard to comprehend what they say. It’s a test of my speed and skill in comprehending what they are saying. My IQ falls below zero. A good example is when we are at the Rolex store. The guy speaks very fast and it surprises me that my IQ catches up just as fast. Lon wet spat, but no spat no wet. It is tiring. Very. And it can be frustrating. Minsan umiinit ang ulo ko when I can’t understand them. Patience helps.
Overall, I like Bangkok. Our neighboring Thailand is a good host. And they don’t try to invade our lands.

After circling in the sky for several more minutes due to airport traffic, we landed safely.
Spent more than an hour in the traffic to reach our residence.
Sticky rice pasalubong. One for my friend, one for Oyen, one for me, one for me again.
