Since my son cannot take off from school for a few days even on weekends, and his birthday falls on a school day, we are spending two nights together in a hotel an Uber away from his school. We are hanging out before I leave for Manila this weekend.
The hotel’s receptionist gives my son a birthday greeting card
with a twenty five dollar gift card he can use to buy from the hotel’s cafe. How sweet, thank you.
This looks more like a business hotel. It’s huge and a bit old.
