There’s a kind of pest that’s new to us, Gopher. We don’t have this in the Philippines.
They dig tunnels underground and eat the roots of crops, vegetables and even plants and trees. You can tell their presence in your yard if you see mounds of fresh soil.
We found some info on Google like what to do to prevent their spread and how to trap them.
We went to Lowe’s and Edmund bought several gadgets like supersonic solar that emits a high pitch sound that drives the gopher crazy which could make them leave your yard. We also bought metal traps similar to a mouse trap.
Some suggested the use of peanut butter as bait. They did not specify though if Lily’s or Jiffy’s.
Edmund caught one Gopher today using peanut butter as bait and a metal trap.
