Having been to Japan 3 x in the past month or so made me craved for some Japanese stuff. The first trip was with the business delegation accompanying President Benigno Aquino, the 2nd and 3rd trips were only passing thru. hanggang airport lang.
When we were in the Bay Area, I looked for a real good tempura but the Japanese restaurant TODAI inside Sunvalley Mall closed for business, which was really sad. There’s a good restaurant very near Aileen’s house in Hayward named Tomadachi, but for some reason we did not go there in this trip.
There’s a small Japanese grocery near Ford Connecticut in Greenhills called KONBINI that has a small restaurant inside. Their food is surprisingly good. I bought some fried rice and chicken the other day.
