A thousand plumeria in our room

March 21, 2015 Saturday

We got back from the North Shore tour at 3 pm. When we opened our hotel room door, we found violet plumeria flowers scattered on the carpet.

Our hotel room was full of kalachuchi or plumeria, Hawaii’s favorite flower. Hundreds or maybe a thousand of them. From the door, hallway, it continued up to one of the beds. The only place left untouched was the bathroom.

A——-“Tart, kawawa naman yung puno, nakalbo”.

The flowers came with two bottles of Landers pineapple juice and fresh fruits.

I told my husband to do something like that also. To scatter flowers on our stairs up to our kitchen. He said huwag daw akong magulo.
Makakalbo na lahat ng puno sa at malalagas na lahat ng bulaklak at mangunguluntoy na ang buong mukha, tuhod, sakong at katawan ko, hindi nya gagawin yan.

  3. Hi OMB,
A good read again. Glad you posted an article, a while ago I thought your site crashed. Enjoy your holiday and happy birthday to your daughter. I discovered your blog, during the last trimester of my pregnancy and even now I read your blog in the wee hours of the morning while nursing my 7 week old baby boy. Your articles are so funny and entertaining. I check it a few times everyday to check for new articles and to read through the archives. More power to you and your blog.

    Cheers,
    Arlene
