I brought my daughter to the airport, helped her with her luggage kasi daming dala. She’s traveling to two continents that’s why she has two luggages. They are half-empty, ‘lam mo na, allowance just in case she buys some souvenirs. A woman’s definition of souvenir is bee-ey-ji.
I was already inside the airport terminal when I realized I was only wearing slippers. We were laughing and giggling while taking photos.
I found a bench and sat there while waiting for Oyen to check in.
This additional security used to be inside, after the immigration, and before boarding the plane.
She checked in online the night before and chose seat #1 but the PAL check in counter told her that seat was blocked for a million miler. I remember already choosing that seat the minute I bought her tickets which was at least a month ago. Ganun pala, pwedeng kunin nila. Then why did they ask me to choose her seat beforehand?
I wanted to bring her up to the immigration section but she told me to go home na daw. Alis na stage mother.
Nice walkway.
It took us a little less than two hours to reach the airport from our house. Coming back, there was no more traffic congestion till we hit Guadalupe. Still, I was home in an hour.
