I couldn’t attend the Ann Pamintuan’s Art Park exhibit’s gala night at the 2nd floor of Greenbelt 5. Instead, I paid her a visit the next day. I took photos of her art pieces and we had a drink together at Cibo, right in front of the display area.
Ann Pamintuan’s artistic genes are clearly in her three children too. They all are helping Ann run the business and her only girl Joanne is also good in designing.
Ann and I have been friends for more than 15 years. We haven’t been seeing each other more often because we both are busy and she’s Davao based.
Me——– Ann, genius ka talaga. I cannot think of something like this in a million years.
Ann——- Sino sa atin ang mas may talent? Ako.
Me——– I was in the bathroom when God sprinkled the earth with art magic. You were outside holding a big basket. Nasalo mo lahat.
Ann’s works are not only home furniture but they are actually sculptures and art pieces.
Ann’s works go beyond functionality. They are unique, one of a kind sculptures.

Flower inspired. I think this is P50,000 a piece.
If I am not mistaken, this is one her first designs when she first ventured into big chairs using powder coated metal.

There were several life-sized horses displayed outdoor.
i went down to take a closer look. It was windy and nalipad ang palda ko. No one bothered to look.
I would buy one of these if I only have a big garden or a huge lobby.
Ann Pamaintuan has won dozens and dozens of local and international awards for her extraordinary designs.
