As much as possible I don’t want to go to Unimart because it’s always crowded. Aside from looking old the place always gives me a headache. You don’t go to Unimart when you are in a hurry. But if you like to read magazines, then you can finish a whole issue while waiting for your turn at the cashier.
The Yes magazine at the counter was a good way to remove my restlessness. I grabbed a copy where Carmina & Zoren Legapi were on the front cover with the colorful bags of local celebrity Annabelle Rama on the inset. Her newly renovated, almost brand-new house in White Plains is featured, together with her master’s bedroom that would put the Hermes store in Makati to shame. If you are wondering why there are no available Birkin bags in all the Hermes stores worldwide, Annabelle Rama must have bought all of them.
