Are you someone's down-time? - Oh My Buhay

Are you someone’s down-time?

I follow Thinking Humanity on Instagram. I like what they posted on Nov 1.

down-time

I knew of some nice guy who waited for a week to get a girl’s nod to have dinner out with him but she didn’t commit to a specific time to be picked up. He waited the whole day waiting for her text or call and when it was past 7 pm she finally answered his dozens of calls and texts to say she was out with her parents. How inconsiderate!

I knew of a nice lady who wasted her whole day waiting for a guy’s call whether he would come to pick her up or she would just go to a restaurant. His text or call never came.

I knew of a nice, sophisticated lady who hesitantly agreed to have coffee with a young executive. She sat at the hotel’s cafe for two hours and he didn’t show up. After she had left, he called to say he forgot about their appointment.

Her husband forgets their anniversaries but remembers his friends’ birthdays.

She consistently leaves her boyfriend hanging as to whether they will go out to the movies, dine out, or hang out. He patiently waits when she is not busy going out with her girlfriends.

I can cite dozens of examples and I am sure we all get the point.
