I told my husband that I will go to Beverly Hills in Los Angeles to have liposuction done by two renowned cosmetic surgeons who do Holywood celebrities’ noses, breasts, buttocks, and tummies. I forgot their names.
They have a reality tv show showing how they correct and fix nicely the bangled cosmetic surgeries done by other doctors.
Ayaw ni Edmund. Hindi daw pwede. Huwag na daw. Di bale daw sana kung matapang ako. At ang tagal daw ng recovery.
Bawal lipo, dehins na liliit tyan ko. Kaya shop for bags na lang to cheer me up.
I told myself before Christmas that for the coming year I will spoil myself and buy whatever handbags I will like. Why all of a sudden I am in the mood for bags? Eh kasi nga bags don’t have sizes. Pampalubag loob lang ito sa akin. I can’t even shop for clothes anymore because of my odd body shape kaya shoes and bags na lang.
I think our feet also get fatter when we get fatter. I used to be a size 6. After I gave birth to Oyen I became 6 1/2. Now my shoe sizes are 7.
I want to buy a pair of comfy walking shoes. I have a white one but they are luma na. In my experience, my shoes only become comfortable for long distance or a whole day walking when they are luma na and worn out. SA una pag bago pa, matigas pa yung leather, titiisin muna ang sakit sa paa at magbaon ng band-aid para sa paltos.
I don’t remember ever buying a bag with matching footwear. I think I did that only one time when I fancied a yellow clutched bag and then the store happened to have a pair of yellow flat slippers in the same exact shade of yellow so in my moment of weakness I bought them both.
But normally I am not fond of wearing perfectly matching ensembles.
Window shopping: Jimmy Choo $2,295 and $875 less 30% discount plus sales tax.
Marc Jacobs boots $3,350 + tax. I don’t know who wears these elevator boots. I am more of the silver sandals on the left. My husband said I should wear shoes that are worn by younger people like my daughter and not just stick to those that’s “me”. Look at him daw, when Oyen told him “dad uso yan”– there was this particular rubber shoes or sneakers that were in fashion, he bought them, nakiuso rin sya. Eh bagay naman din sa kanya.
I always go to the Armani boutique but so far I haven’t bought anything from this particular branch. Tuwing mag-uusyoso ako kasabay ko nagsa-shopping mga Chinese tourists. Sila kasi maraming pera.
Red Giorgio Armani shoes $1,275 less 50% plus 9.25% tax = $700. Too fancy for me.
I was walking by in front of this boutique store when I glanced at their store and saw through the glass window display, this striking red striped new arrival. It’s something different, for a change, not boring, and the best part of all is that no matter how a woman’s body is shaped this bag would blend.
I’ve been using it ever since I bought it a week ago. It’s been raining incessantly these past few days and twice my bag got drenched. Mukhang naluma. While I was fuzzing over it, wiping it dry, Edmund asked me “ano ba yang bag mo, nagse-celebrate ka ba ng independence day?”
