Baguio after 25 years

It took another hour and 45 minutes to go up to Baguio from Manaoag. Hindi naman makapagmabilis ng takbo at maraming tricycles.

Kaya Oyen stopped eating pork, naaawa sa mga piggy.

We reached the hotel at 6:15 pm, tamang-tama lang, medyo maliwanag pa. Ayaw ko kasi nasa daan pa kami ng gabi.
This is Len and Bong’s visit to Baguio after about 25 years.

Small world. In 5 minutes, I heard someone calling Bong.
This is Adelle from Binangonan. She worked for me maybe 20 years ago. Hindi ko nakilala kasi dati napaka liit pa nya.

I didn’t like the rooms they assigned to us at first. They had no balcony. I went down again and had them changed to de luxe rooms. It’s a little bit more expensive P6,200 ++ per room per night but I got a 20% discount. The drivers quarters are P650 per bed per night.

Aileen and Bong so liked their room a lot most especially the balcony and the view of the garden. Bong told Aileen “Mahal ka talaga ng Ate mo”.

Then off we went to dinner.

Dito na lang, sa Forest House. I’ve dined here once, by myself, while Edmund played golf.

We ordered the inihaw for 4

Len ordered Bagnet, na curious sya. Masarap actually.

The package included soup for 4. We’re only 3 but they insisted on giving us 4 bowls. Sige na nga.

What impressed us was the efforts they put in to make our desserts so delighful.
They gave us 4 desserts din, one carrot cake which Len and Bong shared.

One blueberry cheesecake which Bong liked.

and two vanilla ice cream with banana sauce.
This one I liked, it’s so yummy.
