I thought traffic would be bad going to the Manila Yacht Club in Roxas Boulevard but surprisingly we breezed through EDSA in twenty minutes. I would be too early for the 5 pm meeting time. This was one of those rare times when I was wishing for traffic. We only slowed down when we reached Roxas Boulevard but still, I reached MYC at 4:45 pm.
It was so hot, glary and ohhh ang bantot naman dito.
Admire the view but cover your nose.
Elizabeth Chiongbian and I arrived at the same time. She told me she used to jet ski in this area in the 1960s when the water was very clean and clear unlike now, murky and bantot!
The view is great but I don’t know how one can enjoy hanging out here at the veranda of the Manila Yacht Club with this heat and smell.
