Basahan on Santa

House helpers have their own tv lounge. We never stopped them from watching. The colored tv is there for their own pleasure and entertainment. However, they abuse. One of the guys start watching tv the minute he wakes up. The ladies naman watch as soon as I disappear from their eyes.

Yesterday, after my meeting in Buendia, instead of going back to the office, I just went straight home. Takot ma-traffic. As I have expected it, they were all watching tv. The minute they heard my car, they all stood up, one grabbed a broom, one kunwari was touching the dog, one was holding a rug.

In a few minutes, I saw them cleaning the sala which was really irritating kasi obvious naman na pakitang tao lang.

Two mornings ago, I went back to the house at 10:30 am and found Antonia sleeping. When she found out that I was back, she made all sorts of excuses. Actually I don’t really mind naman if they want to rest, gusto ko lang yung dapat nilang gawin ay tapos na at nagawa ng ayos at tama. Kaso……

One of the things that irritate me is every time I see maids leave cleaning gadgets around the house. Halatang wala naman sa sarili. Kasi as soon as they know I have left, they will stop whatever they are doing. Madalas naman, they display the brooms as props, kunwari they’re cleaning.

Eto, one left the basahan on Santa’s head.

When they decide to go back to watching tv or resting or mag-te-telepono, they just leave the broom, para kunwari they are still cleaning, hindi halata.

I left in the morning around 9 and came back to get something after 30 minutes.
Hala, ang iingay ng boses, nagkukwentuhan nadun nakaupo sa sala. Lahat sila, yung isa nasa hagdan nag te telepono, nagulat sya when she saw me. She has no business being on the second floor of our house because she’s not assigned in that area. Her alibi was mag-papa-load daw sya. I didn’t know there’s a loading station in our stairs.
