About 25 years ago, when Ford Motor Company didn’t have an office or operation yet in the Philippines, our company imported vehicles directly from the US. Mostly the Ford Expedition, My brother in law would drive to Benicia for the processing of the necessary documentations and quality control prior to shipment of the Ford Expedition to Manila.
Benicia is the leading port for importation and exportation of new vehicles in North America.
It is a waterfront city in Solano County east of Vallejo and north side of the Carquinez Strait. It was named after Francisca Benicia, the wife of General Vallejo.
Those houses have million dollar views. I don’t mind living here, on top of the mountain with a sweeping view of the water. What a gorgeous place to live.
It was freezing cold when we were there.
This guy found the perfect chilly day to walk his dog. He said they walk outside almost everyday.
The First Street is where the historic downtown centers around. It’s an absolutely charming street lined with quaint buildings, cafes, shops and art galleries.
I told Lyn the two of us will buy this premium corner lot along First Street, but first we have to win in the Lotto.
It’s so serene. I can live here.
I would like to come back next year when it’s summertime so I can sit by the waterfront longer to wait for the gorgeous sunset. I also would like to check out their farmers’ market on Thursday evenings during the summer months of April through October.
