Blessing of Ford EDSA 2015

Instead of having the new building of Ford EDSA blessed on the same day as the inauguration on August 11, we opted to have a simple, quiet, and exclusive mass and blessing of Ford EDSA’s new showroom with only our employees and us in attendance yesterday morning.

The mass was held at the customer lounge on the upper ground floor.

Monsignor Arnel Lagarejos fully agreed and appreciated that we did not have guests and other program together with the blessing.

Ww were able to solemnly attend the mass. We attentively listened to his beautiful and apt Homily. We were able to contemplate more on God’s words, and appreciation of the meaning of mercy and compassion.

It was my very first time to hear Monsignor Lagarejos say the Homily. He was great. Eto yung sermon na gusto ko. Malinaw ang sinasabi, the message was clear and concise, easy to understand. Direct to the point. I learned something from his speech. I listened to his every word.

I liked everything that he said. I cannot be sure though if I would be able to follow instantly. Pagnagalit ako sa ibang tao, minsan taon bago maalis ang galit ko. Minsan, never. Minsan naman two seconds lang nalimutan ko na. Pero pag personal at paulit-ulit na nakaka-pikon na, hayun, talagang maisip ko lang, sumasama na naman ang loob ko. This does not apply to our employees. Pag nagalit ako sa kanila, after five minutes, wala na ang inis ko. Merong sobrang nakaka pikon, I just avoid speaking to her para hindi ako makunsumi.

Please remember Monsi’s sermon by heart:
1. Pananampalataya – ito ang naggagabay sa atin.
2. We should not just listen to the Homily but also put it into action.
3. God said “I am the Lord thy God, full of mercy and compassion.
4. If mercy and compassion is the most important characteristic of God, then it should also be the characteristic of every Christian.
5. We Filipinos are mapaghiganti at nagtatanim ng galit.
6. Kaya daw hindi sya nanonood ng teleserye ay laging ang istorya ay tungkol sa galit at paghihiganti. Mahirap, tapos yumaman, tapos bumalik at naghiganti.
7. Dapat marunong tayong magpasensya at umunawa.
8. Matutong magpatawad. Kalimutan ang paghihiganti at alisin ang kimkim na galit.
