Blogging from New York

After another 15 hours of flying, 1 hour immigration, baggage claim, 1.5 hours taxi from JFK to Glen Cove, at last my daughter and I finally reached our first destination, New York.

JFK added a new wing or extension and renovated some portions of the airport.

Picture taking is not allowed inside the airport building. I am the only exception! If they see you, they’ll ask you to erase the photo. Kasi it’s for security reasons. Baka may balak kang magsabog ng lagim.

Dito siguro pwede ng magpicture-picture.

We booked a ride to the hotel online for $65. Asan na kaya yun?

Our taxi was ten rusty nails shy of being dilapidated. The driver was 70 years old, Italian and very talkative. Oyen and I were exhausted from the long haul, it added to our tiredness listening to a very talkative driver especially when the English pronunciation is worst than mine. I like Italian; bags, shoes, and dresses, not for my chauffeur.

Internet connection at the hotel is great. It’s fast and free. Di ba that’s great? Sa bahay namin, ang bagal na, ang mahal pa ng bayad sa PLDT. That sucks.

I really have to go to bed now, my eyes are 75% closed.
This is oh my buhay, saying good nite, blogging from Long Island, New York.
