Blue Mosque in Istanbul

After crossing to the European side of Istanbul, and travelling along the banks of Marmara Sea, our bus continued until we reached the narrow streets leading to the Old City.

Sultan Ahmed I built the Sultanahmet Camii or more popularly known as Blue Mosque to rival and even surpass the neighboring Hagia Sophia. It’s called blue because of the blue ceramic mosaic tile used in the interiors.
The lay-out is a mixed classic Ottoman design and Byzantine church development. The forecourt has an ablutions fountain in its center. The portico around three sides could be used for prayer, meditation or study during warm wweather.
Considering how grand it is, it only took 7 years to construct and finish (1609-1616).

Nung paa-alis na kami, nadulas ako dun sa marble step na nakalubog na, from hundreds of years of being stepped-on by millions of people.
Bumagsak ako talaga, tumama ang pigi at pwet ko sa marble, at saka naka bukaka ako, para akong nag ballet.

When I was about to sleep at about 1 am, that was the time I started feeling the pain coming from my right thigh. At about 6 am, I woke-up and i couldn’t move my butt. I tried to move my body slowly, to the left, to the right, I felt moderate with pains on my buttocks most especially on the middle portion. what do you call that? kuyut-kuyutan?
