I bought 180++ pieces of hotdogs, 350 slices of bread, coffee, chips, and other goodies for the inmates at the Binangonan Municipal Jail.
I wasn’t sure if these would be enough but at least I have some pasalubong when I visit tomorrow.
The cashier and the store clerk were curious saan ko daw dadalhin. I also bumped into our neighbor Mrs. Paterno.
she happened to be in the store too. I told her I would bring food to the penitentiary.
I heard the cashier and the store clerk talking. Bakit daw bibigyan ko ng pagkain yung mga bilanggo eh mga salbahe yun. They have a point but not every person thrown in jail is bad. Many innocent people are languishing in jail even if they didn’t commit any crime. Marami nabubulok sa kulungan kasi wala silang magaling na abogado para ipagtanggol sila.
