I cut short the informal luncheon I have with my former TDP female employees to attend Oyen’s baby shower at the Penthouse of Citadines in Ortigas Avenue.

Their close friends organized the intimate event.

Baby Shower in Citadines
They’ve already decided on the baby’s name, Theodore. They are still debating on his second name. Maybe Roosevelt. Why not? Well, I am not the mother so I have no say.
Handwritten notes and signatures on a sheet titled 'Baby Boy Theodore'.
Edmund and I only found out about the baby shower a few days ago. He had already committed to join a golf tournament that had been postponed for two and a half years because of the pandemic.

Very cute wall decors

and center table pieces.
Elegant table setting with a floral frame and decorative lantern.
Merienda Buffet
Tray of round pastries topped with cream and nuts.

Box of assorted cookies including chocolate chip and a brownie.

This was my second time attending a baby shower, the first was on November 21, 2020, at Kayleen’s baby shower in California. I didn’t have baby showers for Oyen and Nyke.
Stack of books with horse-shaped and round balloons.

One of the organizers is the daughter of Elsie Chua, developer of Citadines.

The event was very intimate with only a few friends invited plus Derrick’s family.
