Our stay at the Hotel du Vin & Bistro include hearty breakfasts at the hotel’s ground floor restaurant. The food selection is good but their service is very slow.
On our first day, I didn’t realize it was that slow when I had to wait for 20 minutes to have my croissants (after several follow ups).
The pomegranate fruits were sour.

When I went back to the table to get another bottle, no more. I waited and went back a few times but they didn’t refill anymore. Maybe because it was already past 9 am.
I took this from the buffet with no intention to eat the yogurt. I just liked the violet-colored ceramic jar. Oyen returned it kasi daw hindi ko naman kakainin.
I ordered smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. I can’t eat salmon without lemon. This salmon is medyo malansa that’s why I asked for lemon. After two follow-ups and 15 minutes, two thin slices arrived. I ordered for some more, none arrived even after two more follow ups.
It’s not a good idea to use dotted plate like this one. The black spots didn’t make my food appetizing at all. I thought there’s dirt on my plate.
Avocado on toast and poached eggs. These two beklogs looked like they needed some attention.
I had to request for croissants SEVERAL times in a span of 15-20 minutes before this basket arrived.
The view from the window makes me forget that their service is slow motion.
