Byernes Santo Panata part two

The guys asking for white towel accidentally scratched Oyen’s hand and Jebel’s.

Eto si Doctor Edmund McGyver Yee, laging handa sa first aid.

The procession started at 5:30 pm. There was a five-hour lull starting at 7:30 pm. We were giving away the towels every half-hour or so while waiting for the Santo Sepulcro.

The giwang-giwang arrived in our street at 12:15 am.

We cleaned our own kalat.
Sa pagkakagulo nung mga humihingi ng bimpo, nakalmot ang kamay ng anak ko at nung isang maid namin.

We arrived home at almost 3 am, super exhausted and sticky from head to toe.
Another Byernes Santo has passed and we were grateful to have participated in our own way. Our staffs and maintenance crew were also tired but happy to have witnessed a Catholic tradition in our town. I don’t know when this giwang-giwang started but nakagisnan na ito ng mga tiga-Binangonan. Siguro isang daang taon na ito.
