Oyen was browsing at a store when we told the sales lady “we’ll eat first and come back”. When the gwapo store manager who looks like Ryan Gosling heard us, he asked if we’re going to eat lunch. He said he would give us two gift certificates worth CHF 50 each which we could use to dine at the Cantinetta Antinori. He said the owner of the boutique is also the owner of several Italian restaurants. Who says no to free food? Not me.
I was actually here in this area the day before. I went inside this Italian restaurant but all the tables inside were occupied. I didn’t want to sit outside because it was so cold and drizzling a little. The head waiter told me to come back after 30 minutes. I didn’t.
I ordered the vongole. I thought I wouldn’t be able to finish this big plate but I did. Hindi sya nakakasawa.
Thinly sliced veal with black truffles.
Tiramisu for Oyen, as usual, vanilla ice cream for the mother.
We paid an extra CHF20 in addition to the CHF100 GC.
Every dish that we ordered was very good. How we wished we had an extra day so we could go back to eat in Cantinetta Antinori again. Thank you for the GC Ryan Gosling look-alike.
