Our Chickens Don’t Multiply

The number of our free range chickens don’t increase. How come our chickens don’t multiply? It’s been more than a year since we bought several chickens from the market in Silang.
The caretaker always says “namamatay”.

  1. Good morning Ms Annie.. i guess ur chickens do not multiply for the following possible reasons :

    A. The eggs never had the chance to hatch becoz they have been used for human consumption, or worse, sold to the public

    B. The chickens are either sold or “Antonianized” as in – NATINOLA NA by the someone’s’ wife

    C. Nai-BREED na sa bahay ng iba

Sorry for these assumptions, but the same thing happened to my cousin’s farm in Antipolo, and the above-mentioned “possibilities” turned out to be the real, hard facts, which ended with the caretaker and his family being evicted from the farm for not just illegally selling my cousin’s chickens, but also for selling the fruits harvested from the farm trees, which included avocados, siniguelas, papaya, chico, bananas, and guyabano, to name a few…

It’s so hard to find honest and loyal caretakers nowadays, Ms Annie.. Hopefully, the case of ur missing chickens will be solved as soon as possible..

Take care and enjoy ur weekend.. God bless u and the family always …

    1. Hello Anonymous,
Thank you for your in-depth insight as to why our chickens haven’t multiplied. We share the same doubts but we don’t want to accuse them. You are correct, it’s really hard to find honest and loyal caretakers nowadays. Matampuhin pa yang caretaker namin. Kahit hindi naman pinapagalitan, kahit tinatanong lang, pagnaramdaman nya na pinagdududahan sya, sasabihin aalis na lang daw sila.
Enjoy your weekend too. Thank you.
