At 12:15 in the morning, our driver was texting me, saying that he was not comfortable in the driver’s quarters of the hotel. He said he couldn’t move because it’s too small. Ba, sobrang sosyal ito. I told him to go to the hotel counter and advise them. I told him I do not want him to sleep in the van because it would smell old, I asked where he would sleep? He said in the hotel’s security guard house because it’s more spacious and has its own toilet and bath!

Breakfast is included in the room rate. Mother and son both had daing na bangus with sunny side up egg. The bangus was one-fourth of a small bangus so we ended-up ordering a regular order which is one half of a medium sized bangus for P130.

I thought of going to Taal to find a burdadera for our linens at home but I got lazy and felt tired. Taal is a good hour away so my son and I just opted to stay put and rest, chilling in chilly Tagaytay.

We went to the Our Lady of Lourdes for the 6 pm mass but the mass was already half-way. They probably started at 5:30 pm. There was a short novena after the mass so we stayed.

  1. Every Sunday, the mass in the late afternoon starts at 5PM, another one in the evening at 6:15PM, and there’s another evening mass at 7:30PM. Hope you can catch the mass at any of these times next time. May God continually bless you and your family!
