Last year we scrapped the village bingo party because of Yolanda. Money to be spent was donated instead to the typhoon victims.

This year I prepared a very simple program. Welcome remarks, dinner, 5 Bingo games and raffle. We had so much fun. I was the one who set the prizes and I realized afterwards that tila ang sobrang kurips. 2 x P1,000 food baskets, P2,000 cash, P3,000 cash and P5,000 cash. Since we have a lot of extra raffle prizes and gift certificates, we gave additional gifts to the winners. Next year, I will double the prizes (not my money naman, ha ha ha).

RX DJ Mara Yee was a big help. Instead of me doing the emceeing every year, I passed it on to her. Hay, naka relax ako. She has a nicer voice projection, eh yung akin parang boses ipis. Ipis na babae ha.

Edmund couldn’t keep standing up because he was having vertigo.
I suspect the crowd’s movements and too many colors around him could be causing his dizziness.

Nyke tried everything to erase the numbers but they wouldn’t come off. The surface’s lamination was gone. This board needs to be replaced.

Puro na. Edmund only needs the number 74 and he wins the P2,000 cash. But another number was drawn. On to the next game, the number 74 was the first to be picked. Not meant to be.

This is the only place on earth where we always win some prizes. Every person here goes home with gifts because the number of raffle prizes are two or three times more than the number of guests.

Our neighbor Connie generously sent two Crane Arcade machines. Even adults like me played.
We didn’t have to drop coins. Basta libre laro. Some families went home with dozens of stuff toys.

Aside from boxes of Goldilocks polvoron, caramel popcorn, macaroons, cookies, gift certificate for a choco cake, we also went home with two bottles of table wine, umbrella, P500 gift certificate from Steveston pizza, pancit from Man Hahn, shrimps and 3 pieces of bibingka. There are three tiny boxes and two medium sized boxes I won from the raffle. I placed them under the Xmas tree.
Edmund also collected some untouched langgonisa and beef for our dogs. Everybody happy.
