While I was marveling at the Venetian glass ceiling of Bellagio, my sister excused herself and said she was just going to buy something.
I followed her. She went inside the Giardini Garden Store in Bellagio. She stayed here at this hotel on October 8 / 9 last month when they flew in to watch Celine Dion. She apparently discovered this store and bought a few things including a dragonfly made of brass.
I didn’t know she had started collecting dragonflies she first found in this store.
The merchandise theme has changed. They are now selling Christmas decors and gifts.
My Christmas tree used to have this kind of breakable ornaments from Russia. Ngayon not even one piece was left behind. The decors disappeared one by one. Some were broken but most of them disappeared thru time. I no longer want to buy this kind. They are actually very expensive and breakable. Malulungkot lang ako pagnawala uli o nabasag.
I didn’t see any single ornament that’s priced below $10. Can you imagine how much it would cost me to buy 100 ornaments $24.99 each? P135,000 including tax. More than 100 pieces are needed to fill up our Xmas tree.
I still remember on our second Christmas together as a couple, Edmund and I bought a small Christmas tree. One Sunday afternoon, we went to SM Cubao to buy ornaments. I bought P150 worth which was already a big budget 30 years ago. Nung isinabit ko na, ay ang konti, kulang, considering that our tree was tiny.
I really liked this wooden ornament with clock. It’s made in Europe. I thought of getting it but I controlled myself kasi I only brought a carry on luggage. There’s no more space. Ayakong magbitbit. I forgot to ask if they ship. I am sure they ship anywhere in the world.
Hawak-hawak ko na ito actually pero bigla akong nagdalawang isip kasi parang hindi mukhang pasko. Parang pang halloween.
Ang sarap bumili pero pagkatapos ng pasko, ang hirap magligpit at dagdag na naman ang mga kahon na itatago, babahayan ng ipis, alikabok at gagamba.
