I hauled one big plastic sack of mixed clothing items to a Goodwill Store.
There were luxury brands and items still with price tags meaning they have never been used. I saw one men’s t-shirt with Massimo Dutti label. My husband told me not to inspect items for donation otherwise manghihinayang nga naman ako pag nakita ko na bago pa at mamahalin. At least magagamit ng ibang tao.
I couldn’t carry the plastic bag so I dragged it from the back of the car to their big container inside the store. They gave me a slip that can be used for income tax exemptions which I cannot use naman because I don’t have income from the US.
My sister told me one time she dropped off clothes at the Goodwill store, she noticed some items were in the garbage bin. Siguro clothes that were no longer wearable in their assessment were thrown out.
Len gave several bags of girls’ clothes to her friend. She will ship them to her relatives in Pampanga. There were many items that still had price tags on.
Hi Ma’am Annie. I have a Auntie from Canada and a friend from Qatar who do ship me boxes twice a year for me to sell. They are helping me out because my breast cancer recurred last October 2018 and last month the cancer spread in my bone.
Malaking tulong din po talaga yang ginagawa ng sister niyo na magpadala ng balikbayan box. Paki sama nalang po ako sa prayer niyo Ma’am.
